Annual Tournaments and Events

The Hannon Cup Association hosts two premier tournaments each year. The George Hannon Junior Invitational, and Hannon Cup Matches. These activities are made possible by a “Society” of large donors to the Hannon Cup Association.

The Hannon Cup

The Hannon Cup is one way Austin’s golf community honors the “Coach”, George Hannon.  The Ryder Cup like format was selected for the competition with the top 12 Austin metro area golf professionals playing against the top 12 male amateurs.

George Hannon Junior Invitational​

 

The George Hannon Junior Invitational is one of the premier junior golf tournaments in Texas, the event brings together the best junior players from all over the state for 36 holes of competition on one of Central Texas’ best courses.​

Battle at Butler​

 

Join your friends of the HCA in our inaugural membership drive, the Battle at Butler! We will be hosting a Par 3 2-person scramble at Butler Pitch and Putt. Recruit a friend and enjoy food, drinks, and golf. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. 

Hannon Pro-Am presented by Texas Mutual​

 

The Hannon Pro-Am pairs team of 4 players with a Hannon Cup team member as your 5th player. This tournament serves as the major fundraiser of the year to raise money for scholarships.
