Established in 2009, The George Hannon Junior Invitational is one of the premier junior golf tournaments in Texas. Managed by the Texas Legends Junior Golf Tour, a joint venture between the Texas Golf Association and the Northern and Southern Texas Sections of the PGA, the event brings together the best junior players in Texas for 36 holes of competition on one of Central Texas’ best golf courses.

The George Hannon Junior Invitational is considered the “Tour Championship” for the Legends Junior Tour, as the elite field is selected using the College Golf Camps of America Points List. The event, which is run in partnership with the Hannon Cup Association, was created to honor one of Austin’s golf legends, George “Coach” Hannon.
