Mabrie McMahan

My name is Mabrie McMahan, and I am so honored to be one of the recipients of this year's Hannon Scholarship! I’m from Austin Texas, and I began playing in STPGA tournaments when I was eleven years old. The STPGA has played such a large role in the development of my golf game, from teaching me how to play golf at the next level, conducting myself in a sportsmanlike manner, and allowing me to form lifelong friendships. I’m incredibly excited to further my golf career at Washington University in St. Louis this fall where I look forward to developing my game and overall self. I plan on majoring in economics, and I’m also considering law school post graduation. Receiving this generous scholarship means the world to me, as I am now able

to focus more on my education than other financial aspects. Thank you so much to the donors, The Hannon Society, and STPGA for allowing these young junior golfers to accomplish their goals in college and post college.
