Meredith Speer is a senior at Leander High School in Leander, TX, where she is a 4-year letterman in golf.  Meredith has been the captain of her varsity golf team for the past three years.  Meredith started her golf career at the First Tee of Greater El Paso.  When her family moved to the Austin area, she immediately joined the First Tee-Greater Austin.  Over the last 9 years, she has played in the PGA Junior League, STPGA Junior Tour and Prestige Tour, and LPGA-USGA Girls Golf.  Meredith has represented First Tee-Greater Austin at the First Tee National tournament in New Orleans and the Game Changers Tournament against First Tee San Antonio.  She has two holes-in-one to her name.  She currently works at Golfinity, an indoor golf facility, and will be interning at the UT Golf Club this summer under the Bill Penn Internship.  This fall, she will be attending Sam Houston State University where she will be majoring in PGA Golf Management.
