My name is Lauren Townsend and I am incredibly grateful to have been selected for this scholarship! I have been playing golf for almost 10 years with both the STPGA and as a captain of the Varsity golf team at my high school. This fall, I will be attending the University of Texas at Dallas to play golf and study biology with hopes to attending dental or medical school. In addition to this, I have been a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society throughout high school, am an AP scholar, and am ranked in the top 1% of my class. Once again, I appreciate this award so much and am looking forward to seeing how it helps me in college!
