Marlo Zamora

I’m a junior at Trinity University majoring in Computer Science and a proud recipient of the George Hannon Scholarship, generously supported by Texas Mutual for the past three years. During my first two years at Trinity, I competed on the Women’s Golf Team, earning top-five finishes in half of the tournaments I played. I was named to the Dean’s List this past fall and will serve as Vice President of Trinity Women in Computer Science (TUWIC) this upcoming semester.
Outside of academics, I volunteer with the Greater San Antonio First Tee chapter, leading Par-Take lessons that introduce women to golf and highlight how the game can be a powerful tool for networking and advancing their careers. I was honored to be a guest speaker for First Tee’s 25th Anniversary, sharing my experience and its impact.
Driven by a passion for technology and a commitment to using it for good, I plan to pursue a career in computer science focused on creating positive impact. Next spring, I’ll be studying abroad—hopefully at Trinity College of Dublin—to further develop my technical skills and explore new cultures.
